Toolbox 10 PPD Questions

  1.  Does your press release communicate your product and concept clearly?

I think my press release does communicate my product and concept clearly. I made sure to emphasize why my customer should buy my product by highlighting sustainability and versatility as its main features. I promoted the garment by talking about the design details as well.

2. How have you shown connections to your research in your product idea outcome?

I tried to make sure to connect my design to my research as much as possible. I took the color story and many design details from my primary research. For example, the buckles belt strap is taken from a door knocker and sleeve layering from the architecture. Not to mention, the print over textile from the graffiti at the location.

3.  On reflection, how would you improve your toolbox project if you had time to? What would you do differently and how would that change your outcomes.

If I had time, I would change my design outcome a bit to match my customer segment more. My customer is more youthful which I think my design didn’t communicate. In the hopes of keeping my design edgy I think I didn’t express that clearly enough.
