Toolbox 9 PPD Questions

  1. How did you experiment with different ideas in your styling choices?

My final product was a jacket with a detachable red tulle skirt. I wanted to keep the emphasis on the jacket so I wore black trousers and a tank top. I chose to wear red heeled boots in hopes of tying in the red of the jacket and I also opted for a belt to cinch in my waist so I didn’t loose my figure.

  1. What edits have you used for final images

I tried experimenting with different layouts for my final images. But on the advice of my tutor, I added some graphic lines over the top of my jacket by digitally overlaying them in hopes of making my final images stand out more.

  1. Does your media outcomes feel connected to your customer and product? How did you achieve it or what could you do to improve it?

I do think my media outcome Is connected to my product; however, I feel like it doesn’t connect that well to my customer segment. I think in the process of connecting my research to my design, I didn’t focus on the customer as much as I should’ve. I need to take both of them into consideration next time I design a product.
