- How do I respond when offered both positive or negative feedback?
When I get offered both positive and negative feedback I try to reflect more on the negative feedback and improve on those areas. The positive feedback helps me figure out what I’m doing right so that I don’t overthink on those areas and help focus on improving other aspects of my work.
- What technical skills might you need to practice and develop to make improvements in your work?
I think I need to work on my fabric illustration skills a lot more. Being able to illustrate leather, tulle, knits etc. is something I want to improve on. I also want to find my signature fashion illustration style.
- Why is working by hand still so important in 2022?
Working by hand is still so important in the digital age because it connects your ideas to your body. Being able to feel different textures as you draw them helps you get more of a feel and get a better atmosphere of what you’re trying to portray.
