Question 1. How might you now view a designer collection differently?

Now, when I see a collection, I would notice how the collection would tie in together and what the elements are that make it cohesive. This includes, the prominent silhouettes, textiles and styling techniques used throughout the collection.

Question 2. What were some limitations when designing a sneaker?

A sneaker has some prominent characteristics that make it a sneaker. So, it was hard to figure out how much I can push those limitations before it wouldn’t be categorized as a sneaker anymore.

Question 3. Why is accessory design in fashion just as important as clothing?

Accessories are just an extension of clothing; it is also something that would make or break an outfit. From a business point of view, accessories are a great way to generate profit for any brand as people are more likely to invest more in a good pair of shoes, handbags or jewelry. Accessories are a part of a collection, and it wouldn’t be ideal to view them as separate beings.
